If you love books, you will love this site. It is called Project Gutenberg, aptly named after the first press with moveable type. At the site (http://www.gutenberg.net/), volunteers have worked to place more than 10,000 books free on the Internet, books that are in the public domain. Books are available in a variety of ebook formats. I just downloaded The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes in Palm Reader format onto my PDA. It worked like a charm. I think I am going after the Journals of Lewis and Clark next. Happy reading.
