Physicists at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider have found evidence of what looks to be the Higgs boson particle, or the so-called God particle that gives everything in the world its mass. Without it nothing, including us, would exist. It’s a big discovery. My wife’s cousin has been part of the teams of scientists doing research at both CERN and the Fermilab since the early 1990s. But just what is this theory about? This is a cute video that explains the theory. Jorge Cham of PhD Comics turned this explanation by Daniel Whiteson into an animated feature.
