OK, I can’t help myself. I have to share these bits that I found recently perusing various journals and Web sites. It’s an election year, and obviously I have my opinions. The first chart is from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
This next graphic shows the number Americans living in poverty on the rise over the past four years, after declining for decades. The data here is readily available, but I thought I would choose this chart as reported in the Economist, a British periodical, so as not to be accused of quoting some “liberal American media.”
