BoothI haven’t yet voted today, but I certainly plan on hitting the polls just as soon as I leave work. By now, regular readers probably know how I feel about the presidential election (It’s kinda hard to hide, since I do have a Kerry for President banner posted here). I hope to keep certain partisan feelings from my Web site from now on, since Typeface was created to celebrate good writing and ideas. With such a monumental election upon us, I felt I had to be honest and at least share a few thoughts. I hope I haven’t alienated those readers who may be across the aisle politically. With so many challenges ahead, it is my hope that this country can come together again and move forward. In that spirit, I am going to refrain from partisanship with my election-day message as well. My only encouragement: Vote. Get out there and let your voice be heard. Let lawmakers know they are on guard: You’re watching and you’re voting. Do that, and everybody wins!
